Conference and Dog Bites?

Cookin' with Sister Frias

hey family!
conference was awesome! Wow Jeffrey R Holland is my absolute favorite speaker ever! he is so amazing and his testimony is so strong. The best part of conference was that we had 9 investigators come to church! That is that highest number i have had yet! fabulous! It was really neat because since the church is pretty far away and we have to get rides for all of our investigators, we had them come to the morning sessions and then we brought food to feed them in between and have lessons and then they stayed and watched the afternoon session. it was hilarous because the 1st day we brought stuff to make french toast... all of the mexicans have never had french toast before and we didnt think about that..... hahaha they hated it! it was hilarious! so the next day we just made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and the spanish members brought burritos... wow i love how it is just one big melting pot of two cultures! it is the absolute best! Conference was everything that i needed and it was so nice to rest and just be spiritually uplifted and feed.

ok so i have a funny story that is in greater detail in the tape that i am sending to you this week.. but it is just too funny. I GOT BIT BY A DOG!!!! i have some fang marks in my leg and a giant bruise... right above my kneecap.
so what happened was we went over to help a member move. My companion and I have worked hard to help activate todd and now he is moving to Idaho. so the assistants had to be there too under president Miller's direction so the sisters werent there all day with todd. so we got all done and todd asked the assistants to leave becasue he had to give us something...they wouldnt leave though and so then when we were saying goodbye he just gives this giant awkward bear hug to sister behrmann... hahahaha her face was soooo distrubed... and she just stood there...shocked.. then he goes to sister eisley and she is so little so she tried to turn away hahahaha.. then he grabs my arm and i screech and try running away... i dont want to be hugged by a man... i am a sister.. and somehow i break free and his dog...which is crazy anyway... thinks i am hurting his owner and so it jumps up and bites my leg... we run out of there and the assitants are just standing there starring in shock... it was sooo awkward... a terrible way to say goodbye... but so hilarious. (dont worry my leg is doing better!)

Other than the dog attack, it was a GREAT week. Hope everyone is doing well.

I love y'all!
