i do have a funny story for you.. we went over to a members home to have a meal with them, they just got a new waffle iron and so they wanted to test it out on us. we had literally some of the best waffles i have ever had(besides dad's all famous morning-after seminary waffles in the lake house... :) yes i still remember those) any who.. they were fabulous... and so she went and started making us more... well when sister bustillos poured the syrup on her waffle this time she realized there were some specs in the syrup.. she bent down for a closer look and realize they were little dead, red ants in the syrup... i think she almost gagged. i looked at the syrup container and sure enough an entire colony... litterally... of sugar ants had crawled into this bottle of syrup and had drowned..... and we didnt find this out till we had eaten our waffles and probably consumed half of them! THERE WERE SOOOO MANY ANTS IN THERE! hahaha it was hilarious! i was ok with it... i am used to it.... after all i remember a time when one of my beloved siblings fed me maggot macaroni.... hahahaha ps... macaroni has never sounded good to me since then! there are bugs like crazy here! but it is an adventure and an absolute blast!
